DESCRIPTION

Some vehicles may show false bars in the ambient temperature indication area of the information display.

This may be caused by a CAN communication error in the audio unit when turning the ignition switch ON.

Programming of the audio unit has been changed to correct this concern.

Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

  1. Verify concern.

  2. Record all radio preset stations.

  3. Turn ignition to OFF position.

  4. Replace audio unit with a modified one. See Parts Information listed below for instructions on ordering a modified exchange unit from United Radio.

  5. Verify repair.
